On May 7, at the Mother See in Holy Etchmiadzin, His Eminence Karekin the Second, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, hosted the team and supporters of the “Armenian Project,” along with approximately 150 graduates and students of the “Armenian University.”
During the meeting, co-founders of the “Armenian Project,” presented the purpose and primary missions of the establishment of “Armenian University” by the scientific and educational non-governmental organization “Armenian Project.”
The co-founders of the “Armenian Project” underscored that the primary objective of the “Armenian University” project is to instill in students an awareness of national values, with a special emphasis on the vital role played by the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
In their conversation, His Holiness emphasized the importance of education that encompasses spiritual and moral values alongside the transmission of knowledge. The Catholicos of All Armenians emphasized a key message of the day: “Godliness and patriotism cannot be separated from each other.”
